Double-acting
handles have a spring-loaded pawl which helps to provide constant
engagement of the pawl in the ratchet wheel, regardless of the
position of the ratchet turnbuckle. This makes the double acting
handle easier to use whether in general industry, farming, mining,
construction, shipbuilding or commercial marine.
Standard
hand-wheels, vise-type and hex-drives are available upon request.
Out
industrial-use barrel is made from cold-drawn tubing and non-welded
pipe, making it stronger than a comparable pipe barrel. Barrels
can be galvanized and fitted with grease fittings to reduce
maintenance even in harsh saltwater applications. |
